About Me

My name is Chelsea Matthews and I am a senior at High Tech High International. First semester I had the opportunity to take art. We did a variety of different projects as you can see on my blog. Some lasted a day and some lasted as long as a month. I do not think that I regard myself as artistic. I come up with okay ideas that I think are nice, but they're not very creative and out of the box. I try, but I don't always execute it and make it turn out the way I imagine it. In class, let's just say I took my time to finish my art pieces. I admit that I didn't put as much effort into some of my pieces, but the ones I was really passionate about which were my derivative art and floral expression, I took my time and made sure they turned out the way I wanted them to. I don't think I could pursue a career in art or anything of that sort. I would be up to taking a ceramics or pottery class, but no drawing or painting classes. All in all, I'm proud of all the art work I produced not only this year, but also the previous years that I've taken art.
